JEREMY M. GUTH

Prior to joining O'Leary-Guth Law Office, S.C., Jeremy worked for a prominent mid-size Milwaukee law firm for 7 years, and following that he owned an award winning law firm, Praelucens Law.  

Jeremy's legal practice focuses on business law, including business succession planning, business organization, governance, business transactions, sales and acquisitions, and business operations.  Attorney Guth further works with estate planning for business owners, traditional estate planning, disputed estates, non judicial settlement agreements, and probate litigation.  Jeremy's practice also includes work in some areas of real estate, contracts, creditor-debtor rights/collection, finance, construction, and tax. Jeremy has worked with individuals, families, and businesses of all sizes from the neigbor's small business run out of the home, to Fortune 500 Companies, and financial institutions of all types and sizes.    

Jeremy also provides management services to the firm, spearheading best practices, practice management programs, ethics, technology, strategic planning, human resources, and facilities management. 

Jeremy received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School. He also studied in Germany at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich for a year, earning the first Junior Year in Munich Scholar honor ever granted, and spent a summer studying law in Strasbourg, Paris, Brussels, and London. In undergrad he interned with a representitive in the Wisconsin State Assembly and later with the legislative reference branch for the State Paliament of Thuringia, Germany, an honor bestowed on him by the Émigré Memorial German Internship Program.  During law school he interned with the Wisconsin Department of Justice. Prior to becoming an attorney, Jeremy was a general contractor working in all aspects of construction. Growing up, Jeremy had the importance of public service instilled in him at a young age and he continues to actively give back in a variety of ways.

Born and raised in Monroe, Wisconsin, Jeremy now lives on the North Shore with his wife Maureen (aka "the Boss"), their two daughters, and law dog Claire.
